Downtown Soccer Club DSC is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the task of promoting college soccer and college education for all players.
We are determined to prepare and guide our players to play at collegiate level. We will strive to place as many student-athletes as possible to play at college level.
Guiding our players to pursue a college degree and at the same time become college student athletes.
We are dedicated to providing our players with a high quality soccer that promotes the love for the game sportsmanship.
Downtown Soccer Club was formed in 2007 as Los Angeles Cosmos Soccer Club to serve immigrant neighborhoods immediately west ...of downtown Los Angeles (Pico-Union and Westlake). In 2011, the club expanded to serve the neighborhoods immediately east of downtown Los Angeles (Pico Aliso and Boyle Heights) and renamed itself, Downtown Soccer Club. In addition to those neighborhoods, current members of Downtown Soccer Club come from all over the Los Angeles metropolitan area, including Hollywood, Silverlake, Echo Park, Lincoln Heights, South Los Angeles, Bell Gardens, Lynwood and Long Beach.
Downtown Soccer Club fields teams for boy and girls ages 6-18. Most teams compete in Coast Soccer League. Games and training are held at parks and schools near downtown Los Angeles including Belmont High School, Miguel Contreras Learning Center, Salesian High School and John Liechty Middle School.
Downtown Soccer Club is a non-profit organization managed by a board of directors and staff of professional soccer coaches and administrators.
